usage the right antenna to retransmit radio

usage the right antenna to retransmit radio

The selection depends on the purpose of a repeater antenna itself. In general, two omni antennas are used respectively as the receiver (Rx) and transmitter (tx). For the RX antenna, it is advisable to use an antenna with sensitive characteristics of acceptance, while the TX recommended using this type of antenna to the characteristics of the wave beam elevation angle is low, thus reducing the skip.

There is a repeater that use directional antennas and omni antennas for RX to TX, there are repeaters that use the opposite configuration, depending on the purpose of the use of repeaters.
